Help Regarding Alcohol

The medical professionals at Help.org have created important assistance regarding alcohol use. Based on conversations they have had with communities across the US, the vast majority of people who need treatment for alcohol abuse do not seek it. Part of the reason that many people choose not to get help may be the blurred lines between socially acceptable drinking and alcoholism. So, they created a guide that provides comprehensive information on topics like alcohol assessments, the rehab process, and the different types of treatment that are available.

Help.org is a community organization dedicated to empowering people suffering from substance abuse addiction with tools and resources to start their personal journey toward recovery. They create and publish comprehensive, unbiased, free web-based resources that have been featured and are referenced by many governmental agencies and organizations across the web. Help.org is a non profit organization and does not receive money from insurance companies. It is privately funded by groups of individuals that believe in its' mission. Their mission is to make the latest research together with proven, relational methods of overcoming addiction accessible to all those struggling with addiction, as well as those who been hurt or impacted by someone else’s struggle. Help.org is a team of researchers, activists, writers, and professionals who work together with addiction counselors and other professionals in the industry to make crucial information about addiction and how to get help accessible to everyone.

The hope is to help as many people as possible. If even just one person benefits from it because of our site, we count that as a win.
